Breakthrough Is Still Possible

Sometimes breakthrough does not come the moment we want it to. Sometimes healing is progressive. Sometimes provision comes in a way we did not expect. Sometimes we pray, stand, believe, and still have to wake up the next day and choose faith again. But just because it has not broken yet does not mean God is not moving.

In today’s Morning Charge podcast, we talked about breakthrough.

Not pretending or acting like life is not hard. Real breakthrough. The kind that comes when you keep standing in faith, even when everything around you is trying to convince you to quit.

There are people who need financial breakthrough. There are people who need healing breakthrough. There are people who need something to shift in their marriage, their home, their body, their mind, their business, or their family. There are people who feel tired from stretching the dollar, carrying pain, battling fear, or wondering if anything is ever going to change.

But I want to remind you of something today:

God has not changed.

He is still the same God. He has not lost His power. He has not stopped healing. He has not stopped providing. He has not stopped making a way where there seems to be no way.

In Genesis 22:14, Abraham called the place “The Lord Will Provide.” God provided what was needed in the moment Abraham needed it. In Exodus 15:26, God reveals Himself as the Lord who heals. That means He is not just someone who can provide. He is Provider. He is not just someone who can heal. He is Healer.

Your need does not change who God is.

That is why we have to be careful with what we speak when we are under pressure. Financial pressure can make you start talking like an orphan. Pain in your body can make you start talking like healing is no longer available. Delay can make you start thinking God has denied you.

But delay is not denial.

Luke 18:1 reminds us that we should always pray and not lose heart. Jesus said that because He knew people would get weary. He knew we would face moments where we felt tired, discouraged, and tempted to stop praying right before something began to shift.

Some of us are too close to quit now.

Faith does not begin with what we feel. Faith begins with what God has said. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. That means before we see it, we believe it. Before we hold it, we trust Him. Before we feel it, we stand on His Word.

That does not mean we deny reality. It means we refuse to let reality have the final word when God has already spoken.

When I was a child, I had a medium-sized hole in my heart. Someone stood with me and prayed a prayer of faith. From that moment, the healing process began. It was not instant. It took fourteen years for the fullness of that healing to be complete, but year after year, the hole got smaller and smaller until it was gone.

That taught me something.

Sometimes healing is instant. Sometimes healing is progressive. Sometimes healing is part of a process. But we do not lower our expectations because we have had disappointments before.

Isaiah 53:5 reminds us that by His stripes we are healed. Matthew 8:17 tells us that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. James 5:14-15 shows us the importance of calling for prayer, anointing with oil, and standing together in faith.

Healing still matters to God.

Provision still matters to God too.

Philippians 4:19 says that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Notice that word: supply. God knows how to get to you what you need. It may come through an unexpected gift, a new opportunity, wisdom, a strategy, a job, a business idea, favor, or generosity from someone else.

It may not come the way you thought it would, but God knows how to provide.

And sometimes, while we are praying for financial breakthrough, God is also teaching us trust, stewardship, humility, obedience, and how to receive. The breakthrough is not always just about the money. Sometimes God is forming something deeper in us while He brings the provision.

This is why we have to stay in faith.

Speak differently. Pray differently. Praise differently.

In 2 Chronicles 20, Judah praised before the battle was won. In Acts 16, Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises while they were still in prison, and then the prison shook.

Praise is not denial. Praise is a declaration that God is greater than what is standing in front of you.

Sometimes your breakthrough begins with praise.

So today, if you are tired, do not quit. If you are waiting, do not lose heart. If you are battling pain, keep standing in faith. If you are facing financial pressure, do not talk like you are abandoned. If you have been disappointed before, do not let past disappointment become present unbelief.

God is still Provider.

God is still Healer.

God is still the God of breakthrough.
